Lakhonchhora is a long distance from Sylhet city, situated in Gowainghat Upazila of Sylhet.On the route from Pantumai Jharna to Hadarpar along the Piain River, you will come across another mountain stream that originates from the Meghalaya hills of India and flows into Bangladesh. This stream is known as Lakhonchhora. It is essentially a mountain stream that flows from the Meghalaya hills of India into Bangladesh. When traveling by boat on the Piain River, this Lakhonchhora Jharna can be seen on the way to Bichanakandi, after passing Pantumai. This location is a colorful Lakhonchhora in the form of Bichnakandi. The rocky stream path is formed from the spring that originates in India and flows down. The water of Lakhonchhora is very cold. The people of India and our country use this stream's water for their daily needs. There is also a bridge for movement near the Indian border. Under this bridge, many small and large stones have gathered, creating a unique and beautiful stream path. The waterfall that flows under the bridge is very beautiful to see. It is a delightful sight. Tourists often visit to admire the beauty of this rocky path. However, although winter is considered an ideal time for travel, to fully experience the aquatic beauty of Lakhonchhora, one must visit during the monsoon season.
